MS 442

     At MS 442, we believe in empowering globally conscious, critical thinkers for the 21st century. In order to reach this goal, in Technology, our job is to transform our learners from consumers of content online to producers of content online.  We want to encourage our students' creativity and build their problem solving skills so they feel ready to conquer life after MS 442.  To reach these goals, we are strong believers in a growth mindset where failure is readily adopted because we know that practice makes permanent and we all learn from our mistakes.  We expect that MS 442 students use school technology tools to personalize their learning and produce evidence of academic growth by expressing their work through the use of different mediums, which allow for deeper synthesis and more meaningful understanding of content and how it relates to the real world.  Together, as partners, with our MS 442 families, we hope that our students will build a respectful, collaborative and safe online community as positive digital citizens.
